Now I know where I could be going wrong. I always fed our dogs first because they made the most noise about eating, so it was easier to feed them so they quiet down. But I can see how that instantly undermines our leadership in the pack.Our dogs, don't sit that calmly when waiting for food, they jump and whine and grizzle and perform loads.
